Landing Home is inspired by the Award Nominated Off-Broadway play The American Soldier. Based on the actual veteran letters, the TV-series takes the audience into a combat soldier's mind and pulls back the curtain on the lasting damage of war to the human psyche. It helps the viewer understand that returning home can represent only the beginning of a different kind of war for them and their families.

Every day, 16.8 veterans commit suicide, and another 3.8 active-duty service members, guardsmen and reservists take their own lives every day. (Department of Veterans Affairs 2019 Report)
Our burden and daily struggle with the invisible wounds of war. The physical ones, are impossible to erase. We use strategies to cope and try to live a life of meaning, but I don't think we ever entirely heal.

"Landing Home is a definite MUST SEE! As a combat veteran myself, I found my own story and it was healing for me to see how far I have come and see what I actually fought through!"
- COMBAT VETERAN, IRAQ WAR
"This is a beautiful story that is unfortunately a reality for far too many families. It's brilliantly acted by the lead actor whose portrayal of a war veteran suffering from PTSD is heart-wrenching and spot on!
